Background. A Realm Reborn
In the early years of A Realm Reborn, Fae'ryn aged 25 found himself in Eoreza after living in Ishgard for the past several years. Seeing how locals were not aware of the study of astrology, wandered the land as a white mage. Unknowingly finding himself among the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.
Background. Heavensward
After the events of Ul'dah in ARR, Fae'ryn found himself back home in Ishgard. Now able to fully embrace his chosen job, astrologian. Due to his status as a professor in the Astro Guild, he was able to help out the Scions quicker than normal. Able to use his knowledge of the city and culture here. Being a resident of Ishgard, the Dragonsong War deeply effected Fae'ryn and fueled his passion in assisting the city.
Background. Stormblood
After winning the Dragonsong War in Ishgard, Fae'ryn was recruited to help the Al Amhigo resistance. Alongside the Scions, he met a highlander White Mage, Vienna Estwyn who teamed up with them. Fae'ryn felt an intense bond with Vienna, not knowing that later he would find out she is a shard of himself from another world. Still WIP here.
Background. Shadowbringers
Being thrusted into the First, opened Fae'ryn's eyes. Instantly fell in love with the area known as Il Mheg. His bond with Ardbert felt very similar to what he felt in Vienna back in the source. Meeting Emet-Selch for the first time triggered something in Fae'ryn, flooding back memories he forgot he had. Seeing the phantom Amaurot changed him, bringing that back into his home on the Source. Finding out that Fae'ryn was a shard of the ancient Azem, his eyes shifted to a deep red with same look soon to be seen in Elpis.

Coming back to The Source, Fae'ryn was a changed man. Now knowing the history of Azem, he sought out Vienna. Confirming his theory. (WIP on Vienna). His past memories weighed heavily on him, effecting his manners, mood, and over all personality. Being sent back into Elpis solidified all of his past memories and came full circle. Seeing Hades and Hythlodaeus as he was, and connecting with Venat brought Fae'ryn a saddening comfort.

PERSONALITY : Fae'ryn is a quiet, reserved young viera. Curiosity gets the better of him a lot of the time. He prefers to stay hidden away from people. Very much a wallflower and observant of others. Will talk your ear off if asked about his interests though.
APPEARANCE Fae'ryn is on the shorter side of male viera. Slender build. Black hair and tail. Very tired crimson eyes, his eyes resemble the irises of the ancients. Freckled cheeks, full lips. Upper chest/back and arms adorn tribal tattoos.

biography
Born and raised in the upper mountains of the Skytay Range, at a young age Fae'ryn was never interested in learning hunting and survival from the other Veena in his village. He would find himself sneaking off, climbing higher into the mountain peaks to see the stars at their clearest.
As he got older, over the years he learned the constellations, the changing sky, the moon phases, navigation by the stars.
Fae'ryn would join his parents to traveling to Dalmasca's traders market time to time to help out. Seeing all kinds of people traveling, including a traveling group of observers/astrologians from Ishgard.
Having a conversion one night with one of them, he learned of the city Ishgard, and the job astrologian. Learning Ishgard teaches astrologian, everything he heard was similar to what he was already learning on his own in the mountains. Upon learning this knowledge of Ishgard, he made it his goal to set out and join their ranks. Leaving home at 18, he made his way to Ishgard. Entering the guild at age 19. Quickly raised through ranks due to his heritage of being from Othard and Skatay Range, offering different outlooks of the stars that share the same sky. Providing cultural knowledge to the guild. Ages 19-25 worked his way to becoming a professor of South Eastern studies in the guild, providing cultrual knowledge of Dalmasca, Skytay Range and Golmore Jungle.
Age 25 the events of A Realm Born, starts, age 26, after the Ishgardian Restoration, finally settles down in a home.
